Today in Chapel the various PCI groups on campus described what exactly their ministries are. (PCI stands for Practical Christian Involvement.) The basic idea is that Bryan College really encourages and promotes students to serve the community as Christian examples.
In case you might be curious what exactly those ministries might be, here are the descriptions they emailed to the student body this afternoon.

Students for Life: Serve hurting women and unborn children while also promoting the value of life.
Senior Adult Ministries: Develop relationships with local senior adults through conversation, music, games, and other activities.
Lion Academy (Pals and Tutoring): Mentor local elementary students at an after-school program right on campus. Program will include homework help, interactive lessons, snacks, devotions, and recreation.
Rhea of Sunshine: Learn from the joy of adults with disabilities by training for the Special Olympics, bowling, or even just hanging out.
Striving To Reach Individuals with Disabilities Effectively (STRIDE): Assist at a therapeutic horseback riding program for children with disabilities. No previous experience required!
Individual Tutoring: Support and encourage local students through academic tutoring fit to your schedule.
