Thanksgiving break was a very welcome time off. You could say we were all pretty thankful for the break.
But as I am sitting here contemplating Thanksgiving (and college) it just comes to my mind that there are so many things I have to be thankful for right now.
To start, I am very privileged to attend such a great college. I very thankful just for this opportunity.
I am also thankful for everyone of the people in the admissions and financial aid offices. Without them, I would not be here. They made this college experience possible.
I am thankful for everyone of the friendly people here on campus that made me feel welcome. They truly made an attempt to make it feel like home.
I am also thankful for my RD and my RA. Its nice knowing you have someone looking out for you! And my RA makes me almost look forward to strict room because I know she’ll becoming around with a smile, a hug, and a bag full of chocolate. It makes my day a little bit brighter.
I am thankful for my roommate. She puts up with so many of my strange antics. I like to think she’s laughing with me and not at me! We do keep each other entertained, and that is definitely something to be thankful for!
And finally, I am thankful to everyone of my professors and teachers. It amazes me every day how much time they invest into the lives of the students on campus. This is no ordinary school. The people here want you to succeed, and they do their very best to help you reach your goals. I am thankful for all of my supportive professors!
I have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. I don’t think I could ever write enough to express it all. I am a blessed person. And I really am very thankful for that.
