A Concert in the Grassy Bowl

“So what do you do for fun around here?” I feel like being in a small town and a smaller school we get asked that a lot. But while we may not have a mall or a movie theater, we have plenty of other awesome things to keep us entertained.

Speaking of which, tonight I just went to one of the most entertaining concerts I have ever been to. (And right here on campus!) Seriously guys! Great laughter and even better music.

This morning in chapel we had a special guest speaker. He was a musician who both spoke to us and sang. Well we were all pretty impressed and enjoyed it. Afterwards it was announced that the same guy would be giving a concert outside in the Grassy Bowl later in the evening.

So of course I had to go! Half of it was just nice because it was a beautiful day and perfect for an outdoors concert.

It was amazing! By far the best concert I have been to in a long time. Awesome music. The guy can really sing! (And tell a great story or two. I was practically in tears from laughing so hard!)

This was such a great way to relax, unwind, and smile amidst a busy midterms week. I’m so glad they put on this concert!
